The next big project our design team is working on is the doors for the 2010 Ranger Crew Cab. We are working diligently to have the doors in production as soon as possible while still keeping stength and durability top priorities. Kubota RTV900 Accessories – 6/15/10

Our accessories of the Kubota RTV900 are in full production. We have the top, sliding back splash, and sliding windshield with optional gun rest available. For pictures and more information, check the web pages that should be up shortly.

Sliding Windshields are Ready – 4/8/10

The sliding windshield and back splash are in full production for the Polaris Ranger XP, Crew Cab, and 400. Sliding windshields are also available for the Kubota RTV1140 as well. The windshields and the duel sliding back splash are able to be adjusted in a matter of seconds. They are water tight and have the Fortress strength that we are known for.

Ranger Sliding Windshields – 2/20/10

Fortress is coming out with sliding glass components for selected newer Polaris Ranger UTVs. In a matter of a few weeks the Sliding Windshield and the Sliding Back Splash will be in production. Polaris Ranger Windshield Wipers – 2/4/10

We now have motorized wipers available for our Polaris Ranger windshields. You can purchase either a passenger and driver side set, or you can just purchase a wiper for the driver’s side. The wipers should be in production within the next 3 weeks, but we are taking your orders now. We will keep you updated.

Polaris 400/EV and RTV1140 – 1/15/10

	The accessories for the Polaris 400 XP and for the Polaris EV are in full production. As stated in our last post, we have windshields, backsplashes, and tops available for these models. They are ready to be sent to you.
	We now also have a windshield and top available for the 4 passenger Kubota RTV1140. This particular set of accessories has been quite a while in the making. They have just started in production, and we are ready to take your orders today.

New Polaris 400 XP and Polaris EV Accessories – 12/10/09

The new 2010 year brings a lot of excitement with our Polaris Ranger Accessories. Our design team has finished the plans for Polaris’ new models, the 400 XP and the Electric-Powered. We have windshields, backsplashes and tops available for these models. Like our other products, they are constucted with strength and durability as top priorities. If we do not encounter too many problems along the road, the products should be in production within the month, but we are taking your orders now.

New Kubota Pages and Grill Guard Updates – 10/19/09

If you haven’t already, check out our new pages for the Kubota RTV500. Canopies and windshields are available for this UTV. These products do not deviate from our tough, durable, and successful formula that allows us to give you the best steel accessories on the market. Even though the RTV500 has a curved hood, our design team worked to create a windshield that not only has a tight fit but still has an adjustable valance for instant airflow. Everyday, we are getting closer to finishing the accessories for its cousin, the Kubota RTV1140 CPX.

Also our grill guard pages have been updated for the TS, TX, and TH Gators, the 4010 Mule and Transmule, and the 600 and 610 Mule.

Temperature Test Shows Insulation Benefits (Video)- 9/28/09

We set up one of our Fortress UTV tops next to a standard plastic top in the exact same conditions. We left them in 90 degree heat for 30 minutes. When we came back out, the plastic one was warped, sagging, and extremely malleable. Naturally, our top was unwarped, and it was even strong enough to easily support the weight of a grown man.

We then checked the temperature of the bottoms of each of the tops with a electronic temperature gauge. To no surprise to us the heat baked right through the plastic top making it 138 degrees. Our tops, on the other hand, only registered at 115 degrees. This is because we attached a layer of insulation to the bottom of all of our UTV canopies. This acts as a sound deadening agent, but primarily it keeps the heat off of you during the summer, or it keeps the heat in your cab during the cold months. If your don’t think that 23 degrees is a significant amount, just stand outside when it is 77 degrees, and then stand out outside when it’s 100 degrees.
